Bentley to Spearhead New Initiatives Aimed at Expanding Membership and Deepening Value For iGo Community Members
TYRONE, PA., June 28, 2024 – InspectionGo (iGo) is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Bentley as Ambassador of Community Engagement. As a successful home inspection company owner, industry leader, and widely admired long-time Platinum Member of iGo Community, Bentley will now lead multiple initiatives at iGo aimed at mentoring home inspection company owners nationwide who are seeking to build successful multi-inspector firms. In her new role, Bentley plans to launch a new Platinum Liaison program to enrich the experience for each iGo Community Member, and will also expand iGo’s H.I. Ladies program, an initiative that was launched in 2021 to provide broader support for women in leadership roles within the inspection industry. The creation of this new role at iGo underscores iGo’s commitment to delivering value to its Community Members and to uplifting home inspection company owners across the country in the vital role that they play in the real estate industry.
“My journey in the home inspection industry has been fueled by a deep desire to make a difference. I firmly believe that our actions can create profound positive change and that joining the leadership team for iGo Community is an incredible opportunity to translate this belief into widespread action,” said Bentley. She added, “I love the inspection industry and the resilience of the people that make it up. iGo has been a valuable partner for me and our home inspection company for years and I couldn’t be more excited to now have the opportunity to help other entrepreneurs in the industry to thrive.”
Bentley’s efforts will focus on ensuring new members are supported, and cultivating a vibrant community environment for existing members. The new iGo Ambassador Program will introduce Platinum Liaisons within the coaching groups to bolster lines of communication throughout the Community. Liaisons will ensure that iGo’s valuable program benefits reach every member effectively, and will amplify the voices of iGo’s member feedback, leading to stronger programs for members overall. The expansion of H.I. Ladies will include launching H.I. Ladies Professional and H.I. Ladies Social, creating dedicated spaces for women of varying levels of involvement within the industry. These programs will encompass a variety of activities such as speakers, workshops, and roundtable discussions to foster professional growth and support networks among women in leadership roles in the inspection industry.
“With the growth that iGo has experienced recently, we wanted to re-invest that success directly into our members,” said Celeste Starchild, president of iGo. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Susan to the iGo Community Leadership Team. Susan is a natural born leader, and her forward-looking vision coupled with her genuine care for the people in our industry will enhance the experience of our members at every level.”
Susan Bentley will continue to serve as CEO and Co-Owner of Bentley Home Inspections, based in Loudon, TN. Bentley combines nearly a decade of expertise in the home inspection industry with a distinguished advocacy background. In 2000, Susan collaborated with Millie Webb, a state leader of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), to establish a local chapter, later recognized as the youngest National Chapter of the Year. Her advocacy efforts led her to join MADD’s state board in 2001 and the national board in 2004, where she served as a legislative liaison on Capitol Hill. Bentley’s leadership has earned her company the 2023 Times News Readers Choice & Hometown Favorite award. Bentley is also a coach for iGo’s Leaders’ Edge program.
