Leadership team expansion follows a series of key acquisitions
InspectionGo, the leading provider of services and technology to home inspection companies, has announced that Celeste Starchild has been named chief operating officer. Ms. Starchild will drive the company’s growth through bringing to life the full array of InspectionGo’s products and services to their network of home inspectors across the country. Ms. Starchild enters the role with more than 20 years of technology leadership experience, and a proven track record of success in delivering valuable products in the real estate space.

InspectionGo recently closed the acquisition of Veristo, a vendor management platform for efficient sourcing, ordering, fulfilling and billing of professional services from freelancers and small businesses. Veristo was acquired from MileOut Inc. for their technology to help deliver a better experience for the consumer, real estate agent and home inspector during the booking of a home inspection.
The acquisition of Veristo was the third acquisition for InspectionGo in 2019, which has helped InspectionGo to increase their customer base, speed product delivery, and add new talent to their growing team. In October 2019 InspectionGo announced the acquisition of Axium Academy, now operating as InspectionGo Academy under the leadership of Kevin O’Malley, founder of the first licensed home inspection school and 35-year veteran home inspection educator. In July 2019 InspectionGo announced the acquisition of Mastermind Inspection Community (MIC), the industry’s leading provider of marketing, accounting, and inside sales services, to help home inspection companies grow their businesses.
Ms. Starchild most recently served as senior vice president of data strategy at Move, Inc., operators of realtor.com, and previously held other roles during her 10-year tenure at Move, Inc., including leading their professional software businesses and general management of ListHub. Widely recognized for innovation and leadership, she was awarded Woman of Influence in 2019 by HousingWire and also earned the Inman Innovator Award in 2015.
